Where SpaceX Stock Will Be In 5 Years

SpaceX stock is the talk of the town and for all the right reasons. The SpaceX stock is currently trading at a very high valuation. Its P/S ratio is 137, and it has a negative P/E because it is unprofitable.

For an unprofitable company to have a market cap of more than $1.93 trillion is just unheard of! But if SpaceX manages to do what it wants, it could easily justify a market cap like this.

Starlink Is A Growth Catalyst For SpaceX

The two growth catalysts for SpaceX are Starship and Starlink. The company's revenue from Starlink was $11.4 billion in 2025. Similarly, the operating income from Starlink was $4.4 billion. The Starlink business has around 10.3 million users all over the world.

Starship is the next-generation rocket system from SpaceX. One key thing about it is that it is reusable and can carry up to 100 metric tons of payload to orbit. Once the Starship is operational, it will allow the company to launch large satellites and grow the Starlink network.

One thing to know about SpaceX is that it is spending heavily on AI infrastructure. Despite this, it had an operating loss of around $6.4 billion from its AI business. The data suggests that around 61% of the capital spending was in AI.

So in order for SpaceX to justify such a high valuation, its Starlink network must grow. The company must also somehow turn its AI infrastructure into a revenue stream. Of course, the Starship will also need to become a commercial reality to make things work for SpaceX.

Analysts think SpaceX's revenue in 2031 will be $224.8 billion. Morgan Stanley thinks it will be around $330 billion in 2030. Similarly, Goldman Sachs thinks it will be close to $470 billion in 2030.

With all things considered, SpaceX's share price will be around $307 - $427 by the year 2030. And most of that will depend on SpaceX actually becoming profitable.
