Oklo Stock Keeps Falling. Should You Buy It?

Oklo has been in a long-term downtrend since October 2025. Since then, Oklo stock has lost a big part of its value and is now available at more reasonable levels.

So, should investors view this sell-off in Oklo stock as an opportunity to buy the stock? Or is it better to leave Oklo? To better understand this, let's take a closer look at what's going on with Oklo.

Oklo's Partnership With Meta And Newcleo

A lot has changed since Oklo stock dropped from its all-time highs. To put it short, the change has been mostly positive.

Last year, Oklo made a partnership with Newcleo, which is a reactor developer. Under this partnership, they want to develop fuel fabrication. It also involves manufacturing infrastructure on US soil.

Almost everyone agrees that nuclear fuel will be a major bottleneck when it comes to making nuclear energy. This partnership can be a game-changer for Oklo, as it will be a key player in the nuclear supply chain.

Oklo also made a deal with Meta to support a 1.2 GW power campus. The long-term plan is to power Meta's data centers in the region. The agreement also allows Meta to use a prepay model for the power. The money earned from here will be helpful for Oklo to build its Aurorra powerhouses.

Another piece of good news was that Oklo got DOE approval for its Grove Isotope Test Reactor. With this approval, the reactor is in its final stages and is very close to start-up testing.

So, does this mean it is a good idea to buy the Oklo stock? All of these things mean Oklo is going in the right direction. However, it doesn't erase any of the challenges faced by Oklo.

Oklo still needs to get regulatory approval to commercialize its reactors. Also, it needs to prove that the technology of these reactors can work in real life. So, it could easily take years for Oklo to overcome these challenges.

So for now, it is better to adopt a wait-and-see approach for the Oklo stock. It is just too risky to buy Oklo stock right now with all the things going on.
