The Best Nuclear Power Stock To Buy

Nuclear power is going through a global renaissance once again. All of a sudden, everyone is interested in nuclear power, and it has to do with data centers.

Data centers need a lot of electricity. But they can't get it exactly through the grid. Adding more capacity to the grid takes time, which can be several years at the very minimum.

So, the rising data center and AI demand means companies need a source of stable and fast energy. That's where nuclear power companies come into play.

Constellation Energy Is A Big Player

Constellation Energy (CEG) is the one stock that you should pay attention to on the US market. Constellation Energy is already a big provider of nuclear energy.

Data shows that one of the largest nuclear power plant fleets in the USA is operated by Constellation Energy. It produces 180 TWh of energy every year. One thing about nuclear is that it offers non-stop energy. That's not something you get with wind or solar energy.

Many companies have already signed long-term power purchase agreements with Constellation Energy. One particular company is Microsoft, which has signed a 20-year agreement. Another big name is Walmart.

Another piece of good news for Constellation is that it has received a fuel license approval from the NRC and FERC. This wil make things easier as the company works towards brining more capacity online.

Now, let's look at the numbers. In Q2, Constellation's revenue was $7.5 billion, which is an increase of 22.9%. The PES was recorded at $2.55, with a 33.5% y/y increase.

Also, many big companies have signed long-term agreements with Constellation. This provides sustainable and transparent revenue for the long term.

With all things considered, Constellation stock is a good option if you want to ride the electrification trend. It is also different from other nuclear companies, which are still not profitable and have experimental products.
