Palantir Earnings Growth Remains Strong

This also makes one wonder why Palantir is trending higher. Palantir software makes it easy for businesses to add AI into their operations. In simple words, Palantir actually makes AI useful for companies rather than inventing buzzwords or making tall claims.

One problem Palantir was facing was its high valuation. From 2024 to 2025, the Palantir stock price went up by 1000%, and its forward P/E reached 240. That alone scared away a lot of investors.

That was a key reason why the Palantir stock price turned red in 2026. However, Palantir has once again proved its valuation by posting a strong earnings report.

One advantage that Palantir has is its ontology system. This allows Palantir to connect real-world objects with data via its software. In Q2, Palantir'srevenue jumped by 93% and reached $1.935 billion. The revenue coming from the US government remained strong and went up by 90%. The commercial revenue also increased by 149% during the same period.

Considering all of these things, a senior equity analyst at Citi has set a target of $245 for Palantir stock. They think that fundamentals are very strong and this will eventually reflect in Palantir's stock price.

One good thing about Palantir is that it has also diversified its client base. Earlier, it was relying heavily on the US government. But now, it has also found a lot of clients from the commercial sector.
