Bitcoin Can Touch $150,000 In 2027

Standard Chartered has set a target of $100K for Bitcoin. Meanwhile, Bernstein believes Bitcoin can go as high as $150K due to institutional inflows.

All of these are bullish forecasts and highlight that most analysts remain bullish on the digital asset. Meanwhile, these forecasts come at a time when Bitcoin is showing early signs of a comeback.

Analysts Are Bullish On Bitcoin (BTC)

According to Standard Chartered, Bitcoin has the potential to touch $100K by the end of 2026. Meanwhile, Citi believes Bitcoin will be trading near $82K over a period of 12-months. The target set by Citi is more cautious and highlights minimum upside.

Meanwhile, the US Dollar is already showing signs of weakness. The US Treasury has already expanded the purchase of long-dated bonds. This has strengthened the idea that Bitcoin can serve as a hard asset when investors' confidence drops.

In fact, Standard Chartered thinks this move by the Treasury is an ideal situation for Bitcoin. This could also mean the bank's target of $100K is actually too low.

Meanwhile, the BitMEX co-founder is very bullish on Bitcoin. According to him, the price will surge up to $750K by 2027. He cites money printing and aggressive central bank liquidity as the key causes for this upside.

Overall, it seems Citi is among the minority, as their target is very cautious. In fact, there's a good chance that Bitcoin may achieve this target easily in the next few months.

It's worth noting that Citi has lowered its target. Earlier, they had set a target of $112K for Bitcoin. This was later revised lower to $82K in July 2026. At that time, the idea was that net ETF inflows would disappear.

One thing that could make these targets out of reach for Bitcoin is the US Federal Reserve. If the US Fed raises rates multiple times in 2027, it would become difficult for Bitcoin to move higher.
