Tesla chief Elon Musk frequently finds his place on the front pages. His recent news was with Twitter when he became the largest shareholder of the social giant. A discussion has now been sparked about whether he will be buying Facebook in the future.

A verified account on Facebook with a similar identity to Musk commented to Mark Zuckerberg reading if Facebook can be acquired. However, it can be understood the post is fake. Some users left bad reviews on it and the page is being rated as 3.6-star of 5 and probably the platform may remove it.

Before Musk became the largest stockholder, he was noted being active on Twitter and the same move is not being noticed on Facebook. Moreover, Musk had earlier spoken against Facebook a couple of times and stated he and Tesla don't have accounts on the platform.

Some more recent fake posts disguised as Musk include free cryptocurrency tips and Dogecoin logo being embraced by SpaceX as well as giving away Bitcoin and popular altcoin Ethereum. These are obviously scams.

Similar problems are simultaneously being faced by Twitter. Users are using verified accounts to scam people through such posts.
