Lately, it was announced that Tesla chief executive Elon Musk would be joining the Twitter board. A blowback was followed by the employees and this led to the requirement of an internal Q&A session with him, mentioned Parag Agrawal, CEO of the social platform.
Musk acquired over 9 percent of Twitter recently and employees fear the mogul may make some changes in the culture of Twitter. The voice is simultaneously echoed by former Tesla staff who is now working here. He said the richest person in the world may cause harm to Twitter employees including women.
It is not yet known when the employees may meet the newest board member for the Q&A session while Agrawal mentioned Musk has confirmed to be making some significant improvements in the company. Meanwhile, the Twitter employees are worried about the transgender issue statement of Musk as well as his reputation as a driven leader. Some analysts have welcomed his arrival on the board as Twitter had difficulties in monetizing. They believe Musk may help the platform generate more revenues.
Some argue Musk has penalized or fired those Tesla staff members who have tried to create a union or spoken about the same. An agency in California earlier sued the company on charges of harassment and discrimination against black employees. Tesla has rejected such charges stating they are against discrimination.
