TASI Index Guide

TASI Index

The Tadawul All Share (TASI) is a Saudi Arabian stock market index. It tracks publicly traded corporations on the Saudi Stock Exchange. It is run by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. You can buy, sell, or trade shares on this platform.

The Tadawul All Share has several benefits and features. You have the ability to purchase shares through online trading. There is also an option for direct trading and there is an auction market on some days that allows traders to sell shares at auction to other registered members of the scheme.

The Tadawul All Share provides investors with an opportunity to buy and sell shares on the Saudi Stock Exchange. It also offers the trading of options through direct trading at the very same market place. This makes trading convenient and easy, especially if you are a novice trader. Traders are able to choose companies from those listed in the TASI.

Benefits of Investing in the Tadawul Market

The main reason why Tadawul has attracted many investors is its speculated potential for big returns. It is no different than other stock markets all over the world, but what makes this market so unique is that it is a market where you can buy and sell shares at very low prices. Because of this, there are many opportunities to make a lot of money in very little time.

The Tadawul Market Place facilitates the buying and selling of stocks of different companies at very low prices. One advantage of investing in this market compared to the other stock markets is that you can buy shares at discounted prices. This means that your investment will be cheaper when the stock prices go up. As such, you can make more money if you purchase shares when the stock prices are on the rise than when they are down.

The Tadawul market offers very low commissions on transactions. Unlike regular markets where you need to pay a high commission fee to the brokers, the Tadawul Stock Exchange allows you to pay brokers only when you actually sell or buy your stock. As such, you are able to save a lot of money with this type of investment. Despite these advantages, you still need to ensure that you have good trading skills and experience before you get into this market.

Tadawul has been established as the first private company legally allowed to operate as a publicly traded company, and trading began in December, 1954 as an informal exchange. Since its establishment, there have been no major financial issues and trading on the Tadawul exchange has flourished.

Like most other stock markets, the main constituents of the Tadawul include share capital, treasury bills, debentures and common stocks. The share capital consists of government bonds and notes, foreign debt, stocks and preferred stocks. Treasuries are held by the central government and are backed by major financial institutions including the Bank of England, The Fed, Pimco, Credit Suisse and HSBC. These institutions lend money to these companies so that they can issue shares for sale on the Tadawul market.

Why Investors Trade in the Tadawul Market

The main reason for trading on the Tadawul market is to obtain shares at attractive prices. This is possible because Saudi Arabia does not have a standing government and its governing system is not dependent on any political institution. This means that no political or economic pressures can affect the supply, demand and availability of capital in this country. Because there are no trade barriers and no capital market boards to keep tabs on companies' activities, this has led to the ability from them to trade freely on the stock market without any significant restrictions. The result is that shares of companies in this country have a very high liquidity factor.

Because there are no restrictions, this means that investors do not need to submit detailed reports to the government to become a listed company. They can list their shareholdings on any financial instrument of their choice without worrying about complying with any law. Because the market capitalisation of the stock market in Saudi Arabia is very high, many foreigners have preferred this as their opportunity to invest. There are also many domestic investors who prefer trading on the securities offered by the Saudi Arabia trading company because they enjoy easy online access to the financial instruments. The only problem that they may encounter is lack of information regarding the market capitalisation and liquidity of the securities in Saudi Arabia.

Another reason why investors prefer to invest in the securities offered by the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange is the absence of political constraints on its operations. Although the government controls the distribution of foreign currency to citizens, it has no direct control over the supply and demand of the currency, and this allows investors to purchase shares of the national stock at a convenient exchange rate that is below the prevailing market price.
