We found 11 online brokers that are appropriate for Trading FAANG Stock Investment Platforms.

A handful of American tech companies have consistently held top positions in global markets, and I have personally followed and invested in them over the years. In the stock market, they are grouped under the label FAANG stocks, which refers to Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Alphabet, the parent company of Google. It is important to note that Facebook officially changed its corporate name to Meta Platforms in 2021, although the stock ticker remains Meta.
From my own investing experience and based on more recent 2025 market levels, the prices are different from what I previously stated. As of early 2025, Apple has traded above $190 per share, Amazon has moved above $180, Netflix has traded above $600, Alphabet has generally traded above $140, and Meta Platforms has traded above $450, though all of these prices fluctuate daily. I have personally seen how earnings announcements can move these stocks significantly in a single session depending on revenue growth, profit margins, and forward guidance.
The term FAANG was first introduced in 2013 by television host Jim Cramer on CNBC. Originally the term was FANG, which included Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, and Google. Apple was added later in 2017, which changed the acronym to FAANG. Over time, I have watched how this group became associated with high growth technology investing, often outperforming many traditional sectors during strong bull markets.
From my perspective as an investor, FAANG stocks represent a combination of innovation, market leadership, and strong financial performance. While they are still considered major growth stocks, it is also important to understand that they can experience significant volatility depending on broader economic conditions, interest rates, and regulatory developments.

The five companies abbreviated as FAANG are the largest in the world. In January 2020, all five companies combined had a market capitalization of more than £4.1 trillion.
Lately, the FAANG stocks have been added by many large investors in their portfolios as they have perceived strength, momentum and growth.
Influential investors like Renaissance Technologies, Soros Fund Management, and Berkshire Hathaway have recently made large purchases.
Also, all five companies of the FAANG stocks are included in the S&P 500 Index, and make up about 15 percent of it. The stocks are traded on the Nasdaq exchange. It is important to note here that the S&P 500 is considered as a proxy to the United States economy.
This means volatility in the FAANG stocks can result in an impact on the S&P 500 performance. For example, in August 2018, they were responsible for about 40 percent of gains in the index.

FAANG stocks are extremely large in terms of market capitalization and have a major influence on the broader U.S. stock market. Because of their size, many investors, including myself, often question whether they could become a market bubble during periods of rapid growth. In 2018, technology stocks surged strongly for most of the year, but by the fourth quarter they declined sharply. During that correction, the group fell more than 20 percent from its highs, which placed several of these stocks in bear market territory. I remember watching the volatility increase significantly toward the end of that year as concerns about interest rates and global growth intensified.
At the time, analysts estimated that roughly $1 trillion in combined market value was erased from peak levels during the sell off. However, from my own experience following these stocks, I saw how quickly they recovered in 2019 and especially during 2020 and 2021 as digital adoption accelerated. Their rebound demonstrated how heavily the broader indices such as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq depend on the performance of these large technology companies.
Many investors continue to believe in the fundamental strength of FAANG companies. For example, in full year 2019, Meta Platforms, formerly Facebook, reported approximately $70.7 billion in revenue and about $18.5 billion in net income. By 2024, Meta’s annual revenue had grown above $130 billion. In early 2025, Meta shares traded above $450 per share, reflecting strong earnings driven by digital advertising and AI investments. In early 2026, Meta continued to show resilience, its share price moved above $480 per share after better than expected quarterly results, in part due to cost controls and growth in its Reality Labs segment.
Amazon continues to dominate business to consumer ecommerce and cloud computing through AWS. In 2019, Amazon generated about $280.5 billion in revenue with net income around $11.6 billion. By 2024, annual revenue had expanded beyond $570 billion. Amazon Prime now has more than 200 million global subscribers, far higher than earlier estimates. In early 2025, Amazon shares traded above $180 per share. By January 2026, Amazon’s stock crossed above $200 per share after AWS reported strong growth and international retail sales increased during the holiday season, illustrating how diversified earnings streams help support its stock price.
Apple has also continued its long term growth trajectory. In 2024 Apple reported over $380 billion in revenue. In 2025 the stock traded in the $180 to $200 per share range, and by February 2026 it remained near $200 per share as investors responded positively to strong iPhone sales and services revenue growth. I observed how each product cycle and services expansion tends to act as a catalyst for sustained investor confidence in Apple.
It is also true that over the past decade, FAANG stocks have delivered substantial returns. From 2013 to the peaks in 2021, several of these stocks rose between 200 percent and more than 500 percent, depending on the company and time frame. Although growth rates have moderated compared to the early expansion years, they remain some of the most influential companies in global equity markets. From my experience as an investor, their performance continues to shape overall market sentiment, especially during earnings seasons and major macroeconomic announcements. In 2026, this influence was clear as the Nasdaq 100’s performance often tracked closely with movements in FAANG share prices.

The FAANG stocks comprise of Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Alphabet. These five companies are the largest in the United States and their stocks are traded on the Nasdaq.
In recent years, the tech companies have performed better, resulting in the increase in the demand of the stocks.
Those who are new to the financial industry and are looking for a stable investment in the stock market can opt for the FAANG stocks. Lately, they have been lately offering higher returns and are believed to be growing at a good rate. Unfortunately, new investors may not be able to buy the stocks due to low capital. Instead, they can go for fractional stocks of FAANG stocks.
