We found 11 online brokers that are appropriate for Trading Inactivity Fee Platforms.

What is the eToro inactivity fee and how will it affect me if I am not an active trader and trading is just a passive income for me? Let us have a look at this in detail, as the inactivity fee will become a bother to those who fail to trade for months or years due to various reasons, either personal or professional.
The eToro inactivity fee is low compared to several other trading platforms. It is $10 per month if the inactivity period is over one year. If a trader does not login into their account for at least a year, the inactivity fee is charged.
The platform tends to charge for several non-trading-related activities like withdrawal fees, account fees and deposit fees on top of an inactivity fee.
In terms of other platforms, the XTB also charges an inactivity fee while Trading 212 brokerage house charges no inactivity fee. eToro charges a withdrawal fee of $5 while the other two platforms mentioned charge zero withdrawal fees for the same actions.
Charges levied on sending money to a trading account is called deposit fee. Most platforms make it free and eToro is not different. The deposit fee here is zero from a bank transfer, credit/debit card or electronic wallet. XTB and Trading 212 are simultaneously not any different and have made their deposits free from any fee.
Unfortunately, the withdrawal of funds from the platform to a bank account or wallet is not free. eToro charges $5 for withdrawal to the bank. However, XTB and Trading 212 have made the withdrawal free.
If the withdrawal amount is large, the $5 fee may be a fair amount, but for small withdrawals, it may be slightly more strenuous. This is the reason it is always suggested that if you use this platform, you plan out your withdrawals.
As discussed above, the eToro inactivity fee is $10 per month if the inactivity period is over a year. This means if a trader has not logged into the account for at least a year, the platform charges an inactivity fee.
Meanwhile, XTB charges 10 per month if a trader is inactive for more than a year and also if no deposit has been made in the last 90 days.
No inactivity fee is charged by the Trading 212 platform.
If the deposit is made through USD, there is no currency conversion fee as the base currency of eToro is USD. On top of this, the currency conversion fee of some of the major currencies like GBP, is low compared to other trading platforms.
Trading on margin has gained immense popularity in recent years. This means just a small part of the trade value is invested while the remaining is borrowed from the platform against financing rates.
On eToro, for instance, the CFD Apple financing rate is 6.5 percent, while the EUR/USD financing rate is 1.6 percent. The financing rate for EUR/GBP is 2.1 percent.
The trading fees on the eToro platform are low and this makes it suitable for active traders who look for opening and closing positions several times a week.
Trading fees are basically the brokerage fees and are paid when one actually trades - for example, buying an ETF or an Apple stock. The fees can be appear as commission, spread or financing rate. The commission is based on either a fixed-rate or the traded volume, while the spread is the difference between buying and selling prices. The financing rate is charged when a leveraged position is held overnight. It is simultaneously called the overnight rate.
The non-trading fees are not related to the opening or closing of positions. These are charged on operations like withdrawing money from the trading account to a bank account or depositing funds from a bank account or other sources to the trading account.
eToro was founded in 2007 by brothers Yoni and Ronen Assia, with the help of David Ring. It was originally named RetailFX and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Currently, the multi-asset brokerage company has registered offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and Cyprus. It is valued at more than $2.5 billion and is best known for its copy trading services.
eToro is one of the most preferred trading platforms in the world for both beginners and experienced traders. However, it may not be fit for inactive traders as a fee of $10 per month is charged if an account is inactive for more than a year.
