We found 11 online brokers that are appropriate for Trading Bitcoin Cash Investment Platforms.
Predicting the value of Bitcoin Cash may now be more important than it has ever been, as the cryptocurrency has recently been struggling to find the push it was at a couple of weeks ago. It reached a high of $607 in March. More recently, the crypto has been traded at $518, which equates to a drop of 15 percent.
Many crypto coin enthusiasts might be found wondering what went wrong and what are the predictions of market analysts and industry experts about Bitcoin Cash. In recent weeks, the price of Bitcoin Cash has remained within a small range, and its market capitalisation too has witnessed a sharp drop, more than $9.77 billion.
Following this decline, Bitcoin Cash is currently positioned in 13th place with respect to size on the global financial platforms. New currencies such as Uniswap, Binance Coin, and Theta have even risen above it.
The price action of the coin may partly be due to the overall performance of Bitcoin. The current value of Bitcoin is $60,000, and it reached a high of $62,000 a few weeks ago.
Analysts believe the price of Bitcoin Cash has suffered at a macro level, due to the performance of the bond market. In the present scenario, amid the coronavirus pandemic which began in February 2020, the yields of the bond market have surged. It is not to be forgotten that the price of cryptos may underperform when specific monetary conditions of a particular country are tight.
Looking at the four-hour chart of recent days it has been found that the price of Bitcoin Cash is in a relatively tight range. This means the ATR, or the average true-range, has fallen substantially.
ATR is used to measure volatility. The price of the coin is found to be at the same level in 15-day as well as 25-day exponential moving averages.
Moreover, the pattern of Bitcoin Cash price shows signs of being bearish, with $470 the neckline. Hence, it could be said that the price may further fall in the near future as bears are targeting the neckline. The drop could reach around 10 percent below the current trending value. However, the movement of the chart above the right shoulder at $550 could be invalidating this trend.
Bitcoin Cash is an offshoot of Bitcoin. Also commonly called Bcash, it is a spin-off of the first cryptocurrency and was created in 2017 to accommodate more transactions per second. A year later it was split into Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV.
Bitcoin Cash is widely popular and one of the reasons for its demand is the tag of Bitcoin, the leader of the cryptocurrency market. It is traded on several crypto exchanges, including Coinbase, Bitstamp, Gemini, ShapeShift, Bitfinex, and Kraken with a ticker symbol of BCH.
Facing problems of inadequate liquidity, OKEx removed it from trading pairs in March 2018. However, it was still traded for BCH/ETH, BCH/USDT, and BCH/BTC. In May 2018, daily transactions of the coin were at around 10 percent of that of Bitcoin.
Coinbase faced price abnormalities with Bitcoin Cash after listing the coin in December 2017, and an insider trading investigation was probed to find out why.
Bitcoin Cash traded at a maximum level of $900 in November 2017 and shortly dropped to around $300 due to selling off in high volume by holders. In December 2017 its price reached $4,355.62 and in August 2018 its value declined to $519.12, a fall of 88 percent.
By August 2018 the coin received support from GoCoin, Coinify, and BitPay payment service providers.
The price of Bitcoin Cash was highly volatile in 2017 and 2018, seeing a fall of 88 percent. Hence, predicting the value of Bitcoin Cash is becoming a more difficult. It can be said that even though the coin is a result of a hard fork of Bitcoin, its volatility is far higher than alternative cryptocurrencies.
The coin is currently being traded at around $500, but in December 2017 its price was over $4,000. In November 2017 its value was $900. Considering these three spots from its timeline, the price of coin seems highly unpredictable.
Analysts argue that the overall performance of Bitcoin is the main reason behind the price action of Bitcoin Cash, which has suffered at a macro level.
Novice traders and beginners are advised to avoid Bitcoin Cash and instead invest in Bitcoin if price predictions seem unpredictable. However, it is also true that high volatility means there is a highly profitable opportunity. It is therefore safe to invest a part of one's portfolio into Bitcoin Cash, below their risk attitude level.
